Fleet Foxes‘ appearance at Bilbao BBK next year has been confirmed.
The first reports surfaced earlier this week as part of a spike in activity from the band; Spanish website Binaural claiming that the band’s booking had been revealed on radio at the same time as their Facebook page claimed a new album is ‘almost done’ (with a few more Ls thrown in for good measure).
They’re now all happily confirmed for the event which runs from July 6th-8th at Recinto Kobetamendi, Calle del Monte Cobetas in Bilbao, Spain, as are Phoenix – who’ll be making their own comeback – as well as Two Door Cinema Club, Andrew Weatherall and others.
Guitarist Christian Wargo discussed the Fleet Foxes resumption during an interview with Distinct earlier this year: “It’s not like, announced or anything, and none of us really knew it was coming, but it’s happening,” he explained. “Possibly unofficially at this stage, but it’s definitely a thing.”
