A year on from his sad passing, the final Tony Allen album There Is No End is to be released on April 30th.
Collaborations with a predictably eclectic list of artists will be on offer from that date, these including Stumbling Down featuring Sampa The Great, Mau Mau featuring Nah Eeto, and the first single Cosmosis, co-written by Damon Albarn and featuring Skepta and Ben Okri.
“Recording Cosmosis was the last time I hung out with Tony,” Albarn recalls. “A fantastic night was had by all.”
