FANS – responsible for one of Live4ever’s essential tracks of last year – have unveiled the second track taken from their upcoming EP ‘Born Into‘. Check it out below.
“The record is basically based around the idea that social mobility is an illusion, that what circumstances you’re ‘Born Into’, 90% of the time is where you’ll end up,” the band says of the EP, which was recorded with producer Matt Peel.
“A feeling that people who are poor aren’t valued and have no real control or voice. It is literally becoming a crime to be poor which is fucking mental, and if you happen to be in that situation then it seems like human life ceases to have any value.”
The trio play Oporto in Leeds tonight (July 9th) and have a gig booked at the Sebright Arms in London on August 13th. More tour dates in September are also promised.
