Ezra Furman by Eleanor Petry
Ezra Furman will start a North American tour next week.
Ezra Furman has returned to the sessions which brought this year’s Goodbye Small Head album for the release of a brand new track entitled One Hand Free.
“This is a jaunty back-porch breakup/depression song about feeling so bad you’re not sure what species you even belong to anymore,” Furman has said.
We left it off Goodbye Small Head because it was too good. It’s better than Jason Aldean. Better than the Barbie movie. Better than Bob Dylan. Better than Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Cue the sound of one hand clapping, a Zen round of applause.
The North American tour is to open in Montreal on October 20th and will be followed by European dates early next year which include UK appearances in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London.
