Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has again spoken of her and her colleagues plans to curate a brand new festival away from Worthy Farm at some point in the future.
There has been rumours recently that Glastonbury itself would move away from its home of more than four decades within the next few years, but these have been denied by Eavis whilst other ideas were discussed with the Guardian.
“We are going to do a show somewhere else with the same team behind Glastonbury but it hasn’t got a name yet and we’re still not entirely sure what shape it’s going to take,” she said.
“For now we’re all on Worthy Farm. We’re not thinking too far down that road because we’re quite busy with this one at the moment.”
Eavis was speaking to the Guardian as Glastonbury confirmed its full schedule for 2016. The likes of Jake Bugg and New Order will headline some of the bigger stages, while Emerging Talent Competition winners She Drew The Gun have also been given their spot.
