Elton John to visit The Killers during new album sessions

Elton John could be about to collaborate on the new Killers record.

Elton’s currently doing the rounds in support of his own new album ‘Wonderful Crazy Night‘, and reportedly told Shazam he will make one of his regular visits to the Killers’ studio when he next travels to Las Vegas.

“When Brandon makes a record — whether it’s for The Killers or on his own — he comes and plays me the album,” he said. “Usually, I’m very happy and excited to hear it. And I usually play mine to him.”

The Killers took more time out following the completion of their touring duties behind the 2012 album ‘Battle Born‘ – which itself had signalled a return from a brief hiatus.

As pre-‘Battle Born’, frontman Brandon Flowers used the downtime to explore a solo career, but was vocal about his desire for a Killers return sooner rather than later during most of last year. He ultimately said the ‘early stages’ of recording new material had begun last November.
