Elton John will conclude his farewell tour of the UK and Ireland at the First Direct Arena in Leeds in December 2020.
Elton’s long goodbye to touring is due to start in the autumn of next year, and he’s now confirmed more details of its UK plans. They will open with two nights at the O2 in London, and also visit Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin before that closing night in Leeds.
“The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will take us to many places that have meant a lot to me over the last fifty years, but these UK shows will be incredibly special,” he’s said.
“The UK is home, and where my heart will always be. To celebrate some of the incredible moments we’ve shared with my British fans over the years will be wonderful. These homecoming shows will be very emotional, and a lot of fun.”
