UK tour dates in Nottingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Brighton, Bristol and London will take Duke Garwood into 2017.
Still settled on his Heavenly Records debut Heavy Love of 2015, Garwood starts the tour on February 9th at the Nottingham Bodega, staying busy until the 16th when the closing gig is due at London’s Oslo venue.
‘Garwood proves that the blues still remains timeless‘, we observed in our review of Heavy Love: “As the title suggests, ‘Heavy Love’ explores the challenges and temptations that come with carrying a hefty amount of emotional weight.
“‘Resist me, and make me strong’, Garwood’s low vocals rumble on the rhythmically tracing ‘Snake Man.’ His lyrical themes may be simply stated, but Johannes’ ambient production allows the words to resonate.”
