Drenge have combined the realms of their recent EP and forthcoming new album by sharing Autonomy.
It’s the title-track of the EP which was released in October, and is due for inclusion too on Eoin and Rory Loveless’ next studio record Strange Creatures when that comes out on February 22nd next year. “The world is a confusing place right now,” the brothers have said.
“Image and sound manipulation have become so powerful that we are beginning to debate the actuality of real events. Fake news, fake views, fake likes, fake clicks. I can’t tell if you’re laughing.”
A UK tour opens on March 27th 2019 at the Glasgow Garage and also brings shows in Newcastle, Manchester, Cambridge, London, Portsmouth and Bristol with the final date booked for the Birmingham Institute on April 6th.
