Drenge will play some UK headline shows a little later this year.

Gigs have been arranged in Liverpool, London, Bristol, Brighton, Manchester and Newcastle ahead of the Loveless brothers’ appearance at Handmade in May.

Undertow remains their most recent studio album – one we described as a ‘masterclass in alluring menace’ when naming it as one of our top picks of 2015:

“Instead, this is their own personal challenge, a record of hideous beauty and power, the sound of a very fresh and deep wound on display to the world, as on the stunning ‘Standing In The Cold‘.”

“They have written something personal, a batch of songs that speak openly and honestly about issues that don’t just affect them, but actively hurt them. This feels less like catharsis and more like self-harm, these wounds are still very raw.”

Tour dates:

April
25 – Liverpool, Invisible Wind Factory
26 – London, Islington Assembly Hall
27 – Bristol, Lantern
28 – Brighton, Old Market

May
2 – Manchester, Gorilla
4 – Newcastle, Riverside
