There’ll be a second weekend of Desert Trip in October, organisers have revealed.

With tickets on sale now, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Who and Roger Waters will all return for more dates between October 14th-16th. During the first and original weekend, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan perform on October 7th, followed by Paul McCartney and Neil Young on October 8th and Roger Waters and The Who on October 9th.

This celebration of rock and roll’s glorious history was first discussed by Neil Young’s manager who said he hoped, ‘a lot of normal fans can get tickets before they get snatched up’, while Roger Daltrey confirmed The Who during an interview with Postmedia Network last month when he enthused:

“I think it’s us and Roger Waters on the same day. It’s a fantastic idea for a festival. It’s the greatest remains of our era.”

General admission ticket prices range from $399-$1,599.
