Tame Impala will soon release a deluxe version of their ‘Currents‘ album, according to Kevin Parker.
Writing on Instagram, Parker said its release ‘feels like a lifetime ago but also like it was yesterday at the same time’, and added that ‘deluxe’ and ‘b-sides’ are coming up.
We put the album on our end-of-year Best Of list having already described it at the time of release as ‘one of the best albums of 2015 – a creative and artistic triumph’.
“Perhaps the most striking aspect of ‘Currents’ is just how melodic and personal it is,” the review reads. “There is more emphasis on Parker’s lyrics and vocals than the previous records.”
