There’s a lyric video for ‘Smile More‘ up on Deap Vally‘s Facebook page ahead of their second album ‘Femejism’s release on September 16th.
Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards worked with Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner in the studio, and were clearly happy with the results if an Instagram post last year is anything to go by. “Nick, it’s been a true honor and an epic adventure making this record with you,” they wrote.
“Thank you for inspiring us, pushing us to be our best, and for putting up with us. Thank you for sharing your magic with us. We kind of can’t believe it’s over. We love you and will miss you.”
Deap Vally start a UK tour in Bristol on September 15th, playing further gigs in London, Leeds, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Brighton before heading off to mainland Europe.
