This latest Deap Vally collaboration features Jennie Vee.

Deap Vally have shared I Like Crime from American Cockroach, their second EP of the year so far.

It’s due on June 18th and will also feature Ayse Hassan of Savages after Peaches, KT Tunstall and Jamie Hince all appeared on its predecessor Digital Dream.

“American Cockroach is a collection of songs we’ve been working on for a while, including collaborations with Jennie Vee and Ayse Hassan, that run the gamut from deeply personal, to outright satire and everything in between,” the duo have said.

“These are songs for the underdog, the outlaw, the defeated, for days when you feel like no one understands you or you can’t do anything right.”

Both EPs keep the new music coming from Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards despite their last full length being Femejism in 2016; 2020 also delivered another collaboration, with The Flaming Lips, on the Deap Lips album.
