Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards have picked ‘Gonnawanna‘ as the next track to preview the second Deap Vally album ‘Femejism‘.
The follow-up to ‘Sistrionix‘ is out on September 16th, produced by Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner whom the duo left a glowing message of thanks to on social media last year. “Nick, it’s been a true honor and an epic adventure making this record with you,” they wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you for inspiring us, pushing us to be our best, and for putting up with us. Thank you for sharing your magic with us. We kind of can’t believe it’s over. We love you and will miss you.”
On the eve of release, Deap Vally start a UK tour in Bristol and move onto mainland Europe until the early days of October.
