Cornershop have announced a new album for release on March 6th next year.

England Is A Garden is due on their own Ample Play Records, described as containing ‘songs of experience, empire, protest and humour’. It’ll follow the 2012, collaborative-heavy LP Urban Turban, and more recently 2015’s Hold On It’s Easy, an updated, ‘easy listening’ take on Hold On It Hurts.

No Rock: Save In Roll has been picked as the lead single, a first taste of an album which take its inspiration from, and is a celebration of, the English midlands birthplace of Tjinder Singh, a sound built with ‘two thumbs up to the feeling of hearing heavy metal from the back of a stage, as we all ride on and await the backing vocals of our song to come in’.
