The single premiered with the announcement of Chvrches’ new album earlier this week.
Chvrches have unveiled the video for How Not To Drown, which features The Cure‘s frontman Robert Smith.
The band have collaborated again with Scott Kiernan for the track’s visuals, continuing a conscious artistic theme.
“We’ve been working with Scott on all the visual aspects of Screen Violence and this video is the second installment in a connected trilogy,” Lauren Mayberry says.
Screen Violence has been set for release on August 27th, their fourth studio record starting life via remote sessions in Los Angeles and Glasgow.
“To me, the screen aspect was a bit more literal,” Martin Doherty has said. “When we were making the record, it was like half of our lives were lived through screens. What began as a concept was now a lifeline.”
