Chad Smith joined Jake Bugg on stage at T In The Park yesterday before his band Red Hot Chili Peppers closed out the final night of this year’s festival.
Smith assisted Bugg through a performance of ‘Slumville Sunrise‘ and was later headlining the main stage hot on the heels of the Stone Roses and Calvin Harris.
“I went on with my buddy Jake and played a song, it was fun,” he told BBC Four. “I played with Jake on ‘Shangri-La’ – the one before the last one – so we know each other pretty well.”
While their latest album ‘The Getaway‘ was released just last month, the Red Hot Chili Peppers still found plenty of room for hits such as ‘Scar Tissue‘, ‘By The Way‘, ‘Under The Bridge‘ and set closer ‘Give It Away‘.
