Catfish & The Bottlemen made their latest appearance on US television last night (September 28th).

The band have been doing the hard yards in North America for most of this year, squeezing every last drop out of their 2014 debut album ‘The Balcony‘ along the way, and it was The Late Late Show With James Corden which welcomed them here for a performance of ‘Kathleen‘.

We sat down with frontman Van McCann earlier in 2015 during the South By Southwest festival. “Because we’ve been together for eight years we’ve been through every up and every down of anything any band could be involved in, down to coaxing our van to the next station because it’s run out of petrol on the motorway,” he told us.

“We felt like we were fifteen again on that stage, like we had something to prove. It was exciting to be in a band that can still do that. It’s like being with a girl for ages but still fancying her like the day you met her.”
