Cat Power shares Woman, first single from new album Wanderer

Cat Power

Eliot Lee Hazel

Cat Power announced new album Wanderer last month by describing it as her ‘journey so far’, ‘the course my life has taken in this journey’. She’s now ready to share the first taste of the record with us in the form of first single Woman.

Power’s journey will more literally add lots of miles to it during the coming months with tours dates scheduled for North America and Europe through to the end of 2018. Back on the metaphorical plain, Power added:

“Going from town to town, with my guitar, telling my tale; with reverence to the people who did this generations before me. Folk singers, blues singers, and everything in between. They were all wanderers, and I am lucky to be among them.”
