Caitlin Rose has shared a track she wrote with Vaccines frontman Justin Young late last year – scroll down to have a listen.

“A little demo fun for the night sky,” Rose said when she posted the song online. “Wrote this one with Justin Hayward Young back in December and tracked in February with Jordan Lehning.”

Both parties have had a relatively quiet 2014 after Rose released her ‘The Stand-In‘ album last year while The Vaccines have been taking things easy after the hectic one-two of ‘What Did You Expect From…’ and ‘…Come Of Age‘ between 2011-2012.

They also put out an EP entitled ‘Melody Calling‘ in 2013, displaying quite a marked change in sound for the band. It was never going to quickly result in another LP though, as Young explained to XFM:

“We’ve always written in quite a solitary manner so we’ve actually already started writing the next record,” he said. “I kind of feel by admitting that people are going to expect it sooner than perhaps we’re ready to put it out.”

“We’re not set on releasing it any time soon. When we feel like we’ve made the best record we’re capable of making, which is hopefully sooner rather than later, then we’ll put it out and we’re halfway to doing that really.”
