Bruce Springsteen leads a busy week of new releases on the UK Record Store Chart.
The Boss’ latest studio record Western Stars is at number one ahead of more Top 10 new entries from the likes of Kate Tempest, Madonna, Bastille and Buzzcocks, with Richard Hawley, The Divine Comedy, Lewis Capaldi and Pink Floyd the only acts to hold on to Top 20 positions from last week.
It was in 2012 when the Official Charts Company began acknowledging the comeback of vinyl which first started over a decade ago with Record Store Day by publishing a weekly Record Store Chart compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
