British Sea Power to tour with brass bands later this year

British Sea Power‘s forthcoming UK dates will be a tour with a twist as they hit the road with several brass bands in tow.

Peter Wraight has been asked to act as arranger for the ‘Sea Of Brass’ tour and is aiming to, ‘Create brass band arrangements which make full use of the forces within a 28-piece brass band’. Fodens, Flowers, Jaguar Land Rover, Redbridge and Derwent Brass are amongst those who are to join British Sea Power on the trip, which starts in earnest this coming October after a visit to the International Brass Festival in July.




The headline shows start in Bexhill on October 24th, and then move on to London, Gateshead and Coventry during the remainder of that month. The final gig is arranged for November 7th in Kendal.
