Brandon Flowers has made his second solo album ‘The Desired Effect‘ available to preview in full to those in the US via iTunes Radio’s First Play service.
Flowers releases his follow-up to solo debut ‘Flamingo‘ on May 18th and has previously described a collective push for change during work with producer Ariel Rechtshaid.
“It’s nice to steer the ship and that’s what you’d think I’d do on my own album, but I’m letting Ariel take over every now and then,” he told NME.
“That’s led to some really exciting things and sounds I would never have used. As I’ve gotten older I’m much more open to that – I’m much more open to peoples’ strengths and really trying to utilise them – and that’s where Ariel comes into the picture.”
The Killers frontman is set to start a short run of UK dates with two nights at the Brixton Academy in London on May 21st and 22nd. A visit to Dublin precedes on May 19th.
