BONO is promoting his ‘SURRENDER: 40 SONGS, ONE STORY’ MEMOIR.
Bono was the guest of Stephen Colbert last night, performing a solo, partly spoken-word version of the U2 monster hit With Or Without You.
The singer had started his 14-city book tour the previous night at the Beacon Theatre in New York, and as this month progresses is due to have more major North American stops and visits to the UK, Ireland and Europe.
“I miss being on stage and the closeness of U2’s audience,” he’s said. “In these shows I’ve got some stories to sing, and some songs to tell.”
“Plus I want to have some fun presenting my ME-moir, SURRENDER, which is really more of a WE-moir if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here.”
