New Jersey’s favorite rockers Bon Jovi have added 9 more nights to the band’s residency at the O2 arena in London after all the tickets for a five night run in June 2010 sold out immediately. Promoters have promised that there would be “more to come”.
The tickets were selling at a rate of 18 per second , with 23’00 sales in the first two hours , promoters said.
The residency at the arena will kick off on Monday June 7th next year but Bonjovi, whose current single “We Weren’t Born to Follow” is out now, are also appearing on the X Factor this Sunday. The band then joins Fearne Cotton on the BBC Radio 1 show next Tuesday.
According to promoters the UK dates will be the only planned appearances in Europe next year.
The band performed at the venue’s opening back in 2007.
