Bill Ryder-Jones has shared a video for ‘Satellites‘, the latest track to be taken from his forthcoming solo album ‘West Kirby County Primary’.
“The song revolves around something my ex-girlfriend said once that helped me in coming to terms with the awful thought I was having,” the former Coral guitarist explains.
“She said ‘something somewhere must be happening’ – that line refers to the particular thought that life wasn’t real for me and that no matter what it is that I felt I was experiencing, the fact that I’m experiencing something means that somewhere there must be something to experience.”
Jones’ third solo album is released on November 6th after he returned to his mother’s home and his childhood bedroom for its recording, later teaming up with producer James Ford for mixing at the Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.
It will be available on CD, digital and vinyl formats, while a deluxe LP featuring two exclusive new tracks is to be exclusively on the shelves of Dom Mart and indie shops.
