Biffy Clyro have shared some in-studio pictures on Instagram as they continue work on a follow-up to the 2013 double album ‘Opposites‘.
The band have spent most of this year out of the limelight but will end it with a return to the live scene for Edinburgh’s New Year’s Eve Hogmanay celebrations along side Idlewild and Honeyblood.
They’ve also recently confirmed 2016 festival appearances at Germany’s Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, but have now shifted focus back on the new material which frontman Simon Neil first spoke of to NME in 2014:
“We’re getting the next album together,” he said at the time. “Realistically it won’t be out until the end of next year. We’re working on the songs now, but we don’t want to rush it – we’ve been in everyone’s faces for the last couple of years, so I think it’s important to disappear for a wee while and then come back all guns blazing.”
