Augustines, Ash and The Lightning Seeds are new on the bill for the 2016 T In The Park festival.
So are Alessia Cara, Sunset Sons, Borns, DMAs, Vant, The Struts, The Sherlocks and JR Green as organisers of the Scottish event plan for a much smoother ride this year following the many logistical issues which marred their move to Strathallan Castle in 2015.
The Stone Roses have been signed up as headliners for some time now, and may well be preparing to play new music during their show after rumours of recording sessions in London appeared to be corroborated by frontman Ian Brown a couple of weeks ago.
Speaking outside Paul Epworth’s Church Studios, he told NME the band are recording ‘glorious’ material, and that we should expect new music ‘soon’.
There’s no doubt about the album plans of one of those new T In The Park names; Augustines’ latest record is set for release later this year after new single ‘Are We Alive?‘ came out last Friday (April 1st).
