Charlotte Hatherley to rejoin Ash for Free All Angels UK tour

Ash will also be reissuing their debut album 1977 on July 1st.

Ash have arranged UK tour dates in Manchester, Birmingham and London for later this year to celebrate the 21st birthday of their Free All Angels LP.

Guitarist Charlotte Hatherley is to rejoin the band for the gigs at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on September 15th, the O2 Institute in Birmingham (17th) and London’s O2 Forum (18th).




“We’re delighted to announce that we will be commemorating the 21st anniversary of the release of our 2001 classic, ‘Free All Angels’,” the band have said.

“Not least because we will be joined by the fourth member of Ash, guitarist extraordinaire, all-round Shining Light, the one and only, Charlotte Hatherley. Can. Not. Wait.”

Released in April 2001, Free All Angels was a constant presence on TV and radio in the UK that year; a number one there whilst producing a long of run of hit singles which included Shining Light, Burn Baby Burn and There’s A Star.
