Ash have sent out invites to their American fans for the 20th anniversary celebrations of the band’s debut album ‘1977‘.
With UK shows already sorted in London, Manchester and Nottingham this December, Ash will now start it all in Los Angeles on September 21st, and also play European dates ahead of the return to British shores. “We’re as excited as we are in disbelief to announce the 20th anniversary tour of ‘1977’,” they’ve said in a statement.
“Some of these songs have grown with us throughout those years; others have the ability to transport us mentally and emotionally back to that crazy formative year of 1995 to 96. These gigs are going to be a trip, trip, trip!”
