‘All good’ – Black Keys’ Patrick Carney swiftly ends feud with Jack White

“Talked to Jack for an hour he’s cool. All good.”

That’s the pretty tepid end to the latest installment of Jack White vs. The Black Keys, very soon after the rivalry reared its ugly head in public yesterday.

The above is again from Patrick Carney‘s Twitter feed, the source of yesterday’s ruckus when he detailed an apparent attempt on the part of Jack White to start a fight in a New York bar.

“I’ve never met Jack White, until last night,” Carney’s series of Tweets read. “He came to a bar in NYC I go to a lot with a few friends and tried to fight me. I don’t fight and don’t get fighting but he was mad!”

He went on to describe the incident as a ’40 year old bully trying to fight the 35 year old nerd’, but those tweets have since been deleted, replaced by the short message of reconciliation after White gave his own response to EW:

“Nobody tried to fight you Patrick,” he said. “Nobody touched you or ‘bullied’ you. You were asked a question you couldn’t answer so you walked away. So quit whining to the Internet and speak face to face like a human being. End of story.”

Popcorn down everybody.
