Ahead of a UK tour in September, Albert Hammond Jr. has premiered his latest video following the release of Francis Trouble.
Far Away Truths was directed by his wife Justyna and is another sample from the Strokes guitarist’s solo album which poignantly address the effects on his life and music of the stillborn death of his twin brother Francis. “What the music says may be serious, but as a medium it should not be questioned, analyzed or taken too seriously,” he’s said.
“I think it should be tarted up, made into a character, a parody of itself. The music is the mask the message wears and I, the performer, am the message.”
