Albert Hammond Jr. is getting plenty out of his latest solo record Francis Trouble, and has now released a video for Set To Attack.

For this promo, the Strokes guitarist headed out to Athens, Ohio with director Carley Solether – a state he’s skipped during this year’s touring, the last stretch of which is set to continue in Toronto tonight.

The title Francis Trouble refers to the conscious aim of Hammond Jr. to address the effects on his life and music of the stillborn death of his twin brother Francis. “What the music says may be serious, but as a medium it should not be questioned, analyzed or taken too seriously,” he’s said.

“I think it should be tarted up, made into a character, a parody of itself. The music is the mask the message wears and I, the performer, am the message.”
