Joe Perry is ‘stable’ and ‘resting’ after being hospitalised in Brooklyn last night.
The Aerosmith guitarist was performing with the Hollywood Vampires in Coney Island, New York when he left the stage after apparently falling ill. Reports suggest he lost consciousness backstage and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but is now recovering according to his Vampires bandmate Alice Cooper.
“Thanks to everyone asking about our brother Joe Perry,” Cooper tweeted. “He is stable right now, with family & is under the best care.”
A group representative has given a similar update to Rolling Stone, stating: “Joe Perry is stable and resting. His brother Vampires and fans wish him a speedy recovery.”
