Diana Ross will fill the ‘Legends’ Slot’ at next year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Now pretty much cemented as the festival’s most popular position thanks to another huge attendance attracted by Kylie Minogue this year, the Sunday afternoon slot has also over the years seen performances from the likes of Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and Neil Diamond.

The Strokes, Guns N Roses and Travis Scott have been revealed as the big-name headliners for Lollapalooza South America 2020.

The trio will be leading the charge across Argentina, Chile and Brazil between March 27th-April 5th next year, with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Gwen Stefani, Cage The Elephant and James Blake not far behind.

The next preview of Green Day‘s new album Father Of All… is Fire, Ready, Aim.

It follows the lead single and title-track with the trio’s next LP set for release on February 7th next year.

The Jesus & Mary Chain will spend the early spring of 2020 performing their second album Darklands in full.

A European tour has been arranged to start with UK gigs in Glasgow, Manchester and London, moving on to mainland Europe from March 24th.

The Twilight Sad are back with two new songs entitled Rats and Public Housing.

It’s a swift response from the band to their excellent fifth album It Won/t Be Like This All The Time, released earlier this year, Rats revealed by Andy MacFarlane to have been one of the first demos which shaped the direction of that record.

The death of Ginger Baker has been announced. He was 80.

Fiery, argumentative, talented, influential – Baker was all these things and more, a part of a golden age for British rock drumming with one of the first supergroups, Cream, along side Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce.
