Diana Ross will fill the ‘Legends’ Slot’ at next year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Now pretty much cemented as the festival’s most popular position thanks to another huge attendance attracted by Kylie Minogue this year, the Sunday afternoon slot has also over the years seen performances from the likes of Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and Neil Diamond.
“I am delighted to say that one of the all time greats, the wonderful Diana Ross, is coming to Glastonbury to play the Sunday legend slot on the Pyramid next year,” Emily Eavis revealed, while writing on Twitter Ross proclaimed:
“To all my fans across the world, this is my tribute to you. Every concert feels like a private party, I can see your eyes and feel your hearts. I’m coming to Glastonbury, with love.”
Diana Ross is the first name to be officially confirmed for Glastonbury 2020, but as always the festival is already sold-out after tickets went on-sale earlier this month.
