The 1975 fans have been wondering for quite a while now on precisely what the momentous event taking place tomorrow is all about.
The teasing hasn’t stopped – the band’s singer Matty Healy, posted a cartoon strip on their social media accounts suggesting that they might disappear from the scene for an unknown period after June 1.

“Our projected identity must change not only visually but philosophically – how do you do that?” the comic-strip read. “Firstly we must reclaim our identity & repossess our control of it … Until then there won’t be any pop music or dancing with long hair … The hardest part of any relationship is to say goodbye … So we must leave, with a parting ‘we love you.’”
It would be big surprise to see the band split. Just recently their manager tweeted about listening to the demos for their second album.
Fans took to social media expressing a wide range of speculations – everything from fearing the Mancunians were breaking up to to the band getting a makeover in the wardrobe department. The band members are giving no comments but tomorrow should bring some answers.
