The Charlatans were apparently involved in a few handbags with Ronan Keating during a private music industry event earlier this month.
According to The Mirror, Keating was halfway through his set when Charlatans guitarist Mark Collins shared with him the acute observation that he’s ‘shit’ on more than one occasion – something the Boyzone singer didn’t take too kindly to.
“Ronan was midway through a track when Mark yelled, ‘You’re shit’,” an ‘insider’ has told the tabloid. “He said it several times and it was all a bit embarrassing. Mark thought he was having a laugh but Ronan went and spoke to him.mIt looked like they were really angry. Luckily in the morning they could see the funny side of it.”
Frontman Tim Burgess has since shared the story on Twitter, posting a photo of the report with the caption, ‘Sometimes it’s best, when you say nothing at all’.
