Bruce Springsteen‘s new album ‘High Hopes‘ has been made available to stream in full ahead of its official release next week. Head on over to this link to have a listen.
‘High Hopes’ follows 2012’s ‘Wrecking Ball‘ album, and is comprised of covers and reworkings of past songs along side more conventional new material. Springsteen’s eighteenth studio effort is something of a culmination of the burgeoning musical relationship which he has been building with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello since the pair first began working together in 2008.
“He became a filter that I ran my music through,” Springsteen recently told Rolling Stone of Morello. “He would send the songs back to me with a very current slant on them. He jolted those songs into the now. He’s one of the few guitarists that creates a world by himself. It’s like the Edge or Pete Townshend or Johnny Marr. The E Street Band is a big house, but when Tom is onstage he builds another room.”
