Noel Gallagher, the Arctic Monkeys and Lou Reed were among those from the music world honoured at yesterday’s (September 3rd) GQ Men Of The Year awards in London.
The ceremony hands out prizes to a wide-ranging list of figures from the showbiz world, and named the Arctic Monkeys as its favourite band of the year, while Noel Gallagher went home with the Icon award.
Lou Reed, meanwhile, was recognised with the Inspiration gong, and Who frontman Roger Daltrey picked up the Editor’s Choice Award.
