Sony Music is pleased to announce the CD and digital download release of the soundtrack album of the year, “Nowhere Boy” – the critically acclaimed film biopic about John Lennon’s teenage years that led to his music career from the Quarrymen, to his early relationship with Paul McCartney and the Beatles’ first trip to Hamburg.
With a screenplay by Matt Greenhalgh (best known for his screenplay for Anton Corbjn’s “Control” Joy Division biopic), “Nowhere Boy” is Sam Taylor-Wood’s directorial debut, and recently closed the London Film Festival to rapturous applause and rave reviews. The film stars Kristen Thomas as Aunt Mimi, Anne Marie Duff as Lennon’s mother, and includes a career-defining performance from Aaron Johnson as the young John Lennon.

The best book that I have read about John’s whole childhood then how he became a Beatlse which it is on the book shelves now is “Shoulda been there” by Jude Southerland Kessler, her book starts from his birth and she is on is her second book. If the movie is anything like this book it will be awesome but if a lot of STUFF is made up and brought up in it, many of us Beatle/John Lennon fans will know. Looking forward to seeing this film.
Thx for information.
