Rina Sawayama played the Manchester venue on October 20th.
Rina Sawayama will continue her UK dates in Birmingham tonight after the release of new album Hold The Girl last month, with a tour of North America coming up in November.
“I had gone to therapy and had a revelation, so I decided to write this song,” Sawayama said of Hold The Girl’s title-track. “That was the start of it. I was crying before going into the studio to write about it.”
The US gigs are due to open in Brooklyn at Avant Gardner.
