Marika Hackman will also be releasing a white vinyl edition of Covers.
Marika Hackman has shared a live version of her Jupiter 4 cover, which features on last year’s lockdown album.
“I love this song so much and it was such a wonderful process creating a cover version of my own,” Hackman says.
“Performing it live was a real highlight of the set for me, I just loved having the opportunity to sing those lyrics and really inhabit the mood of the track.”
The Sharon Van Etten cover was included on the album along with takes of tracks from the likes of Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Air and Beyonce.
“When it comes to covers, I like to pick songs which I have been listening to obsessively for a while,” Hackman said upon the album’s announcement.
“It gives me a natural understanding of the music, and lets me be more innovative with how I transform it.”
