The Walkmen announced their return last November.
The UK will get a taste of The Walkmen’s reunion when the band head to London in August.
Two gigs have been arranged at the KOKO on August 29th and 30th, adding to the US shows this spring which are set to be launched with a five-night run at New York’s Webster Hall.
“In the ensuing years we’ve all worked on a ton of different projects in a ton of different places,” Hamilton Leithauser has said.
“Recently, someone sent us a clip of us playing at Irving Plaza from 2003, and it just looked very exciting. So, we’ve decided we’d like to play together again.”
