It adds to Blur’s ever-growing 2023 live comeback.

Blur have been booked to headline Norway’s Øya Festival on August 10th this year.

2023 is shaping up to be a big one for the band after they first announced their return in November last year with plans for a gig at Wembley Stadium, Damon Albarn reflecting that they all, ‘really love playing these songs and thought it’s about time we did it again’.

“I’m really looking forward to playing with my Blur brothers again and revisiting all those great songs,” Graham Coxon added. “Blur live shows are always amazing for me. A nice guitar and an amp turned right up and loads of smiling faces.”

“There’s always something really special when the four of us get in a room,” Alex James said. “It’s nice to think that on 8th July that room will be Wembley Stadium.”
