Fontaines D.C.’s touring will continue in Ireland next month.

Fontaines D.C. played the first of their three shows at London’s Eventim Apollo on November 24th, part of the extensive live work they’ve been undertaking since the release of Skinty Fia earlier this year.

And it’s that third LP which has dominated the live shows, tracks such as I Love You, Nabokov and Big Shot already firm favourites with a fanbase that seems to be regenerating with every album.

There’s been plenty for the more long-in-the-tooth fans as well, breakthrough cuts like Chequeless Reckless, Hurricane Laughter and Boys In The Better Land still an essential part of the show.

“With voluntary exile and the motherland as their latest muse, Skinty Fia is a circle-closing masterpiece; guilt, hellfire and damnation raining down on those who can make their noises sound like a broken-down heaven, or the echoes of some fast-disappearing confession made across one man’s own sea,” our album review concludes.
