Suede at number one on UK Record Store Chart with Autofiction

Suede Autofiction

It’s Suede’s ninth studio album.

Change is the order of the day on the latest UK Record Store Chart with Suede leading an entirely new Top 20.

Autofiction debuts at number one ahead of more new releases from Marcus Mumford, Rina Sawayama, The Stranglers and Turin Brakes, while Supergrass’ reissue of their 1999 self-titled LP debuts at #10.

A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best-selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
