Alex G has released God Save The Animals on this latest New Music Friday – check it out on Live4ever.
Now nine albums in, Alex G is today following up arguably the high watermark of his career so far after the critically acclaimed 2019 record House Of Sugar, his frequent collaborator Molly Germer back on board as Alexander Giannascoli looked to continue that winning formula by again writing and demoing at home.
But this time his wider touring band of guitarist Samuel Acchione, drummer Tom Kelly and bassist John Heywood were invited to give more telling contributions to God Save The Animals as sessions were completed around various studios in Philadelphia.
Up next is a tour of North America which will continue for more than a month after it opens in Saxapahaw, NC on October 6th.
