‘St. Jude’ brought enduring favourites from The Courteeners such as ‘Not Nineteen Forever’ and ‘What Took You So Long?’.
The Courteeners will mark the 15th anniversary of their debut album St. Jude next year with a hometown date at Heaton Park in Manchester and an expanded reissue.
“They grow up so fast,” Liam Fray has said. “Can’t believe our darling St. Jude is 15 next year.”
“Think it’s time for a celebration and we all know that great things come in threes….The Star Wars Trilogy, Sooty, Sweep & Soo and now, here we are, with the third instalment of ‘Courteeners at Heaton Park’.”
The outdoor Manchester gig has been scheduled for June 9th, 2023, after the multi-format re-release comes out on January 13th next year packed with bonus tracks, B-sides and acoustic cuts.
